After years of excellent education, multi-lingual upbringing, and generally being prepared for life in a conventional sense, I discovered a tool, a compass, to journey into the heart of my own being. Yoga has been a part of my life for almost 30 years now. It has taught me how to explore the reaches of my own potentials, and to see that these are reflected right back to me by life. It has oriented me to actively seek the places that are uncharted, uncertain, yet beckoning with the rewards of treasures unimagined. I have come to understand that these places can only be arrived at by means of a willingness, an openness to some greater field and intelligence of Life itself. Like cresting a peak, the teachings of yoga have brought me to clearer sight, and an unshakable trust that the journey through this life unfolds before me as a magical mirror to my own becoming. Through Yoga I have learned that I can choose to stay steady on the path through the exhilarating peaks as well as the valleys of life. The physical practice of asana has taught me how much I value vulnerability, creativity and beauty, and that beauty is an inside quality seeking to express itself into the outside. My passion is to share with humor the deep lessons we are being offered through this experience of being human, in our bodies, minds and hearts. In the physical practice of aligning ourselves consciously with our spirit, we can discover our true worthiness, and celebrate the joys of living. In this way, we contribute to the growing and expanding evolution of our collective consciousness.
It is my honor, and my privilege to accompany and assist you in the adventure ahead, where yet untold magic is waiting for us all, reflecting what we already have within! My offering to you is to guide you deeper into the beauty of the temple of your own body. When we practice yoga asana, true shifts occur that give us an unshakable knowledge of our essential nature, opening us to the experience of life in powerful ways. I am a certified Anusara® Yoga teacher, own and direct a center for transformation and yoga in Bozeman, Mt. I teach privately, groups, workshops, as well as train teachers, especially loving to share the magnificent way that we are designed to flourish in our physical environment. I crested the peak of 50 years and am the loving mother of a 15 year old teenage daughter.
Elaine Doll, CAS, PKS, LMT
Elaine is founder and director of Blissful Ayurveda in Bozeman, Montana. She began her study of Ayurveda in 2004 at the California College of Ayurveda. Upon graduation she traveled to India to dive deeper into Ayurveda’s ancient wisdom. There she received additional training and hands on experience through working at traditional Ayurvedic clinics located in Mysore and Rishikesh. Since 2008 she has had her own healing practice in Bozeman. Elaine believes in the power of Ayurveda to tap into the medicine chest within each of us, allowing optimum health and peace of mind to be restored, cultivated, or maintained in everyone. She uses all manner of techniques to help achieve this goal in her patients, including (but not limited to) 1-on-1 consultations focusing on diet and lifestyle, ayurvedic bodywork, retreats and workshops, yoga, aromatherapy, color therapy, herbal support, cleanses, and integrative reflexology. Elaine is also a specialist in the ayurvedic cleansing and rejuvenation techniques known as Pancha Karma; widely celebrated for their profound healing qualities. She weaves her multitude of skills into a powerful program that guides individuals to root out disease and ultimately age more gracefully. And since we don’t get much choice in the fact that we age we might as well to do it well.
